Duncan EVOLVE Unboxing and Review!

Hey all! To celebrate the EVOLVE coming to YoyoExpert, I made an unboxing and review video of the yoyo! Check it out and hope y’all enjoy the EVOLVE! It’s seriously an incredible yoyo and I’d highly recommend it!

Easily one of the most professional quality yo-yo videos I never seen.

Very well organized content. Very well spoken dialogue without using filler words or stumbling for thoughts.

Systematically moving through the trick types was very well thought out.

There is an old sing that goes… It’s the thought that counts. But this particular video all your thoughts are backed up by the most excellent yo-yo tricks skill set.

Very informative and entertaining…

PS…. A few months ago, I bought a red Evolve from the BST(here). I’m guessing the guy picked it up at a contest when a small amount were released.

I started throwing it around after I unboxed it. I was immediately impressed with the power and stability of the Evolve, especially for a monometal. I’m not really sure ‘why’ somebody would not love this yo-yo?

Thanks for posting up the review.

Wow, thank you so much for the detailed response, this was so thoughtful, it really brightened my day! I’m glad y’all are enjoying the review, I put a lot of work into it and it’s such a relief that people find it helpful! Got a few more reviews in the works for other yoyos as well but they may take some time to finish

I am curious how well the evolve handles dna and finger spin style tricks?

Also I really appreciated your concise review also!

@mannix Glad you enjoyed the review! Given the fact that the inside of the cup for the EVOLVE is a domed up shape, it makes it a bit hard to do fingerspins and DNAs. You can land them, but it’ll probably spin around your finger a bit and run out of spin faster than a yoyo with a flat inner cup or a fingerspin dimple. For what it’s worth I’m a novice at DNA/fingerspin tricks, so it could be a skill issue, but it is a lot easier on flat inner cup yoyos or yoyos with fingerspin dimples. Hope that helps!

You can finger spin on any yo-yo if you’re old school enough! :sunglasses:
