im learning double jade whip but whenever i land the trick i have an extra wrap of string around my hand. am i supposed to have that extra wrap?

when you do a normal jade whip you have the string going across the top of your hand. but when i do a double jade whip i have a second string across the top of my hand. am i doing the trick correctly?

You’re doing it right, that’s just the way the trick goes. You can fix it easily by twisting your hand around the string once at the beginning of the trick.
