Doomsday edition Too Hot?

Since YYF did a Doomsday Edition 7075 Genesis, what if they did the same thing to the Too Hot?

Doomsday passed and we all made it.

Not sure I’d want a 7075 TooHOT. It’s one of my favourite yoyos, but without rejigging the design for the denser aluminum, I think you’d end up with a brick.

7075 TooHOT with everything thinned a bit, uniformly for the most part… that could be interesting.

If you want something very similar to a TooHot in 7075, then get your hands on a 7075 2Sick Queen.

Let’s make that a Czech point as well

Yoyofactory only did a doomsday genesis model since the world was supposed to end in 2012 because thats when the mayan calender ended. They sold them in stores on the day the world was supposed to end and the were the only yoyos to be made out of 7075 and given the doomsday colorway.

Unless the world decides its going to end again then im pretty sure they won’t be making another doomsday edition yoyo.

what we need here is a bimetal toohot. :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o

That Doomsday Genesis is one of the best Genesis models, and one of my favorite yo-yos ever.

I’m all for experimentation with the TooHOT, but it will be hard to improve that one. It’s way up there.

Got to agree with that. The 7075 Genesis was a truly great yo-yo. Not only was it the best-playing Genesis; the anodizing and the engraving were just beautiful.

Who says you can’t anodize 7075?

There’s apparently more ano flaws when using 7075.

7075 isn’t really preferred by throwers all that much over 606.

Only if YYF could do another run of the Doomsday Genesis.

why do you think the TooHOT would be better in 7075?

YYF did the supernova with 7075, but then they use 6061 because the design was solid and wont take advantage on the stronger, denser 7075.

Hubstack everything

It’s a 2 color acid wash… Not the most difficult ano-effect to pull off by a long run.

Also, no one says you “can’t” anodize 7075. (It’s totally possible) People usually point out that there will be more ano-flawed units per run. That’s all.
