Can I just go to nationals if I want to
To the best of my knowledge Utah doesn’t have a state competition. A few times kids from Utah have come to the Idaho State Competition though… However, to prequalify for nationals you have to go to a regional contest, not a state one…

Anyway, I’m working on putting together a Utah contest. I have help from some legit people, too. It’s not gonna be some half baked contest.
Yes you can go, but state contest don’t qualify you to go. You would have to hit up a regional contest (PNWR, BAC, BLC swr, and so on).
