DocPop Thing Unresponsive?

Hello friends,
The community seems to praise DocPop’s Thing when it comes to responsive play.

It comes stock with a half spec C bearing and can be converted to unresponsive with a full spec C bearing.

Has anyone tried this and what are your thoughts?

I’m a 1A player who is big fan of Delrin yo-yos and a big fan of slimline. The Thing is looking pretty good right now but would love to hear the community’s experiences with The Thing in unresponsive form.

Thank you all.

I have a Thing, but it’s the toybania version, which I think is a bit lighter. Plays great unresponsive, might argue a little bit too light for most tastes, but I think it’s very fun. Not going to be doing anything crazy with it, but it’s great if you don’t like tricks with too many wraps. The only real downside is if you like playing fast, the Thing will definitely play fast, but it zips so fast it’s uncontrollable at high speeds and tends to throw itself off axis. Takes a bit to get used to as well, since the yoyo is so light and slim it’s very easy to redirect in the air, which makes it fun but a bit of a learning curve.
