Get your mind out of the gutter Does anyone play with their souvenir yoyos that they buy at Nationals or Worlds? I went to Nationals in Philadephia as a spectator a few weeks ago and bought the Duncan Nationals Yoyo Contest 2024 yoyo which is a Freehand One. I bought it just for fun because it was my first yoyo contest, but now I kind of want to play with it.
Do you play with your yoyos like this or just collect them?
I think it depends! If you want to keep it for its sentimental value you can always throw it over grass or carpet, and keep it nice and safe. But i dont foresee them climbing in value enough to the point that it would be feasible not throwing.
They ARE very nice looking. I’m not much of a collector of things and after seeing this and other comments I’m thinking it’s greatest value lies in play. I’m gonna have to see what this (somewhat classic) yoyo is about…
