Do you play with yours?

Get your mind out of the gutter :stuck_out_tongue: Does anyone play with their souvenir yoyos that they buy at Nationals or Worlds? I went to Nationals in Philadephia as a spectator a few weeks ago and bought the Duncan Nationals Yoyo Contest 2024 yoyo which is a Freehand One. I bought it just for fun because it was my first yoyo contest, but now I kind of want to play with it.

Do you play with your yoyos like this or just collect them?

I think it depends! If you want to keep it for its sentimental value you can always throw it over grass or carpet, and keep it nice and safe. But i dont foresee them climbing in value enough to the point that it would be feasible not throwing.

The 2022 Nats FH specifically has a significantly lower weight than regular FH, which can be nice if you’re in the mood for it, so yes

I’ve been curious about those. How much do they weigh?

Yes. Why would I buy a yoyo to not play with? This thing is beautiful btw

They ARE very nice looking. I’m not much of a collector of things and after seeing this and other comments I’m thinking it’s greatest value lies in play. I’m gonna have to see what this (somewhat classic) yoyo is about…
