Ok, just thought I would make a topic (Sticky?)on how to lube your unresponsive bearings using the Dip Touch Spin method. The yoyoexpert page (YYJ thin lube) says " a drop of lube." And actually a “drop” is to much unless you use compressed air. So, this method saves you TONS of lube and makes it worth 5 bucks (YYJ thin), and has less break in time.
Lubing your bearing with a microscopic amount of lube.
First step get your bearings (clean is better).
Next, take the top off the lube.
Get a pin. Or a needle.
Hold the lube and dip your pin in the lube, pull it out and touch it to the balls in your de-shielded bearing.
Then spin. It should be good to go.
But, if you do it once and it is still rough spinning or loud ect. Then keep doing the Dip, Touch, Spin method until it meets your expectations.
