Difference between spec x and spec large

If you are VERY VERY careful, and use only the smallest amount, you wont get it into the bearing. You arent sqirting it into the bearing, your squirting it in the center.

I’ve found the quality of the bearing itself to be far more important than the number of balls inside the bearing.

I’ve got 8 ball bearings that outperform bearings with 10 balls in them.
I don’t really notice any difference in smoothness between bearings of either variety either.
I will say the YYJ Speed bearings with the 10 balls are a vast improvement over the regular 8-ball YYJ bearings.

I’ve had failures of both kinds(bearings with 8 or 10 balls, various brands), but then again, anything can happen and a bad bearing can get through QC.

I will say I dislike the YYF SPEC bearings because in my personal experience I have had too many bad bearings. On the other hand, I have yet to have any issue with the CBC CenterTrack bearings. Now, I would be willing to buy a couple of SPEC X bearings to see for myself. Without buying and trying and seeing first hand, to me it’s just all speculation.
