anyone owned both of them and what is the difference between them beside of size

GTX has a larger flare towards the rim. Also a sharper rim area.
OG is almost undersized.
Check out how thin the ring edge is in the GTX

Note that The OG (in any other color) is a little smaller. The red is Yoshihiro Abe’s version, so it’s size is a predecessor to what was used on the YoshicudaX.

IMHO
The OG is better suited for chopsticks play and has a very weight centered feel.
The GTX lends itself more to competition style (riskier tricks, bigger catch zone) and has a exceptionally floaty feel.
I use each for 1a & 5a. More 1a on the GTX and 5a on the OG.

It’s also my understanding that they are based off of the eXit8’s original too.
So same general family.

It does! Reminds me of my General Yo M10. Decided to keep it and try to move the Grasshopper GTX for this reason.
