I don’t want to sound mean, but please note that he’s a professional. Like someone once said… “The player makes the yoyo, not the other way around” Hope that helps. Just keep practicing, and you’ll get there.
Well just like everyone said, He uses a koncave bearing and those will keep the string centered and away from the sides, thus causing the yoyo to spin longer.
But a good throw will actually center the string so the Koncave isn’t going to help there.
The only reason he can make it sleep so long and straight is because he has been yoyoing for many many years and has a great throw because of it. If you want to be able to do that too, just keep yoyoing. You will improve your throw over time.
Also he uses a CERIMAC Koncave, ceramic has longer life than normal bearings and it causes less friction so the yoyo spins freely. It is also in your throw, or it might be Andre has been using the Dark Magic so long he knows the physics to it (( he did design it after all ))
