Im new to the yoyo community. But why are the yoyo’s shaped like that? With the big holes but still in butterfly shape.
It’s just an usual design. Very hard to machine, but makes a cool see through effect, a VERY cool noise, and neat weight distribution.
Do its mostly for pure cosmetic? Except for the weight distribution. Do they work the same with finger grinds and stuff? Im just tryna learn. Im not interested in buying.

Yeah, surprisingly, they actually work fine for finger grinds.
Yeah, there’s not a real performance ADVANTAGE but, it does make the feel super unusual.

I am wondering the same, I would be interested in the Hanzo as long as that’s not what @Albertino is asking about.
