hey guys, i bought a bearing and it has a strip through the middle! and my loop of string keeps getting stuck in there. is this supposed to be there? if so what is it used for?

Is it a Crucial Grooved Bearing? If so, then yes, that groove is supposed to be there. It centers the string in the same way a beefcaked yo-yo will.

Beef and cake don’t taste good together. Put in a yoyo and you get an ugly mess.
that my friend is what i would call preferance. though, beefcakes make me feel weird.
