That’s a great question - I do NOT know. The extra come-backy kind? I kind of assumed baby seal blubber, but it’s possible I’m wrong? Will confirm.

Mine also came with gold domes, but I wanted to pop in the red bois for a bit. Maybe I’ll do half gold half red???

Here’s the other two that I was talking about in my previous post.
Stay Gold, America inspired and solid glittery gold.
The opposite side the gold has some sparkle to it.
The gold one also has the sparkle but it’s a bit more subtle. Planning on doing another with more to really punch it up a bit.

The bearing is deeply recessed into the halves making a standard A have an effective area of like a half spec essentially, it’s pretty clever, but yeah with some thin response and a thin string it should do. Would make it like a super slim panorama.

Funny enough I have been running a slightly over lubed bearing in my pano so it’s semi responsive, and this bad boy is fully responsive running what feels like a more lightly lubed bearing.

Got a Blue/Gold half swap on the way and a greasebucket bearing. May need to order more of the bearings for other yoyos. Not needing to service Walter and Theo so much would be great!

String snagging in the gap between the bearing and the “pocket” it sits in? Nope, no snagging there, however it does get snaggy with layering like anything with a smaller string gap

My initial choice was Stay Gold, but I have several yo-yos that are gold or brownish gold, but I wanted to stay with the ‘Merica theme a bit. Jeff was stoked on the idea of being halfswap bros (as was I, of course lol) so made the decision easy!!
The gold energy domes are SICK, I popped them in my Kamuraiju immediately so I could pop my older red ones in this to complete the “theme”
One Drops finishing and colors are just SO good, you’ll be happy no matter what! (Helpful, I know…)
Edit: just checked one drops site, did these sell out instantly???
Edit2: 11am pacific, I see now.

Now would be a good time to preload your cart with whatever else you want (grease buckets are live) and if you want to halfswap, I think you send them an email requesting the colors after your order but they may all sell out as solids so idk about that haha.
I do not envy whoever is in charge of keeping track of the halfswap requests lol
