Got my half swap gold/blue Deepest State the other day. LOVE IT! @da5id and @The_Machinist you guys nailed this one! Love the Greasebucket bearing too. Did you guys, or @edhaponik , get to test its maintenance life? How long did it go without needing more lube?

Typically when a grease is used, rather than oil, it will last a very long time. I have a couple of greased half SPEC bearings that have not had maintenance for close to 3 years with at least weekly play. So a sealed bearing packed with grease should be impervious to the passing of time

I have a number of grease packed bearings, some I’ve packed myself, others I bought. Generally I need to do maintenance about once a year to them.

It’s not a stretch to say that most people put much more time in on their sessions than I do. I’ve gotten to the point where probably 2 minutes is all I can throw before my limbs start getting really clumsy. Still yet… a year is a pretty good long time.

Did red rtv on one half and left the other empty. Definitely digging it unresponsive too! It’s kind of making me really, really wish we could get one that is just a smidge wider in the response area (for more bearing /response clearance) similar to how the bearing gap on the Slappa is, but leave the body width roughly where it’s at. That way it’d be a more of a dedicated unresponsive pockatble slimline. Crazy I know! Haha! I think it’d be so cool though!
I love how the slappa plays but it would be so cool to have a slimline side effect by one drop that was a super good at unresponsive 1A too. The deepest state is so close to that dream 
haha! I’m convinced with a bit more tweaking it’ll get there. So far it handles everything I’ve thrown at it but it does slow down a bit with multiple wraps. Super fun though! Especially considering it wasn’t really designed for unresponsive in mind.
Oh and just for giggles I had to do it. The DeepestDeep Perspective?

My Deepest State arrived with me yesterday and I’m really loving it so far!
The Greesesbucket bearing is a real game changer. Makes it totally responsive and play how I like responsive yoyos to behave.

Yeah I’ve spent a LOT of time on it without having to do any maintenance which I LOVE.
One of the main things I’ve historically disliked about responsive bearing yo-yos is that they tend to need a lot of maintenance to keep them where I like them. These bearings went a long way toward solving that for me.
