This release came together through a collaboration with long time One Drop supporter Jeff Atwood, whose family focuses on projects that support communities, local manufacturing, and long term positive impact. Their support helped bring the Deepest State to life sooner than planned and at a lower retail price, making this release a win for the entire yo-yo community.
Design wise, the Deepest State builds directly from the Deeper State platform. It features a wider gap and a more rounded, forgiving catch zone while still keeping the pocket friendly feel that defines the series. Side Effects return as well, redesigned to be wider and more curved, further increasing catchability without pushing the yo-yo into oversized territory. The result is a semi-responsive yo-yo that feels modern, smooth, and easy to control, while still staying compact and comfortable for everyday carry.
Shipped with Energy Domes, the Deepest State is a thoughtful evolution of the State series that blends playability, purpose, and classic One Drop design philosophy.
