I’m not sure if it’s just me but the pictures on the product page look updated, and Black Spade with the translucent body is back!
I don’t think so. There is a black body standard edition. The black spade edition has a translucent red shell with black rims.

Sorry about that I meant to say this version of Black Spade is back instead of the solid red shell version of the Black Spade.
As I recall, it’s always been the red translucent shell. I have one of the original release with red translucent shell. The caps on that have red spades instead of black, but all else is the same. I’m a DM2 fan and watch that page fairly regular.
I could be mistaken… 
It’s probably the black rim reflection causing the shell to “seem more translucent” in the photo.
Too bad they don’t make HG rims anymore.
I remember there was one with a solid red too. Word to the side burns and Dark Magic. Signature of my favorite! 
I own the translucent one, but remember the switch, and it kind of confused me when I first saw it. I prefer the comeback (translucent).

Yeah, there was 1 run of solid red Black Spade Editions. Not sure if we ordered them like that or YoYoJam just accidentally made some solid ones, but the Translucent look much better.
