How does Alter play? Seems cool but the shape may be too sharp for me
It’s a faster Kagerou, It is a bit sharp, but still a comfy throw.

Always fun to post a Current top 5 on 5/5, here is my 2026
- Performance Bi-Metal - Miracle 2025 in the Miri Colorway, it is the current World Champions’ signature, this is what the best player in the world plays if you go by merit and his sister is really good as well by merit herself.
- Premium Heirloom Ti - Sonny Patrick from Anti-Yo / RSO SE YWETi MKII Raw, Mid-School Flavor and a Repeater Machine, if you know you know, kind of exclusive with only 65 units including Soaking Wet. A real Magic Dropper
- Budget Mono Metal - Sense Next Journey in the Senseeing Silver/Green Green Eye, Ahmad Kharisma signature one of the best tech players on the planet. Out plays the Leaf, the best double rim out there with lots of fun color variants and they were under $40
- Plastic - Mowl Highwall PC / SH -Steal Hub version, machined plastic cool engravings, smooth player, this yoyo is rad, I also have a thing for Japanese Casuals.
- Modern Responsive - YYF Turbo Confusion Silver, been a big fan of this series since the initial May of 2018 release. The cork pads and lighter weight make this the best version yet, great for 0a and just playing know school, all yo-yo tricks are fun.

Can’t leave my favorite topic hanging even if I don’t own 5 yoyos and haven’t bought one in years
I put too much effort into fancy organics just to accept I like these ones the most. FH One, Polycarb, AL with plastic caps. I gave away my Genesis so I’d buy another one I dig like a Luis Orange or 7075 if it fell in my lap. Only other thing I’d definitely buy is a Higby FH One.
Duncan makes it really tempting with a lot of cool different FH Ones but I am very anti accumulation of things that I only need 1 of these days and I’m holding strong with what I’ve got.

It’s been waaayyy too long since I’ve updated my current top 5 in this thread… some have come & gone, but the Canopy Ti & Klondike have been my top 2 for probably about 2 years now. Besides that, I think these are the best of the best, in no particular order!

Shoutout to the early aught’s Duncan yoyos such as the Mosquito, Throw Monkey, Dragonfly, Profly, etc, which are amazing throws that I wish were still in production. I would have a whole shelf of each of em but that would be expensive and difficult.
