It is on the heavy side, both in weight and in play. The Life in general leans a little more towards being powerful than balanced, that plus the extra weight makes it a really laidback but relatively stable yoyo

I think I know what “lol” means. That is why I am asking why you used it.
“lol” is often used by young social-media posters to prompt agreement from readers. This is well known. So what purpose is the lol in your post serving? Are you asking me to agree that you are not sure about one yo-yo because you have never thrown it? Like Albert Einstein writing “E = mc^2; lol”; your statement is self-evident and does not need an “lol” to prompt my agreement.

I am simply pointing out that in this case lol is unnecessary and is actually distracting. For many; its use has become both automatic and irritating.

Been a while… I think this is it, you guys. I present to you, my true top 5:
Top Deck and Legendary Terrarian have been, and will always be, my top two. Not too much to say about them that hasn’t already been said.
The Recess Komodo just has a certain quality to it that I’ve always felt made it stand apart from the rest of my collection. I think it’s the size (54mm diameter) combined with the weight (66.2 grams) and the blasted AL7 that gives it this special feeling. It’s one of those throws that doesn’t let me down and plays exactly how I want it to. It’s also the one that has drawn the most blood. We have a strong bond.
Then we have the pocket throws, the PDX Phideas and the new mold Duncan Butterfly. I just got this Butterfly, but man it is just what I wanted to get me excited about 0A. It’s not so much “omg this is amazing!” but rather “oh, so this is how one of these should play.” It just feels much more consistent on the response and quality than the previous models. And the Phideas… I don’t hear much talk about this one. Maybe it flew under the radar or got lost in a sea of slimlines during a time when they were releasing a new one every other week. I don’t know. Point is, it’s amazing to me. It light and slim enough to throw it in my pocket without even noticing it’s there and it plays more like a slim H than a traditional slimline, if that makes sense. It’s light and zippy and can handle a lot more than it would appear. Plus, it’s designed around the golden ratio and I think that’s just cool. Very underrated throw.

Two of them are the 2022 new catch 22s the other is the original from 2009 and that one does run hubstacks, the ones from 2022 do not🙂

My previous list was made before I went full Magnolia-brained. Wild how much my taste has changed, although layered Shaqshine is still easily my favorite bimetal.
Lio, Torino, Shaqshine, Quercus, Magnolia
And there’s a huge power gap here between the Magnolia and everything else. I feel like I’d be happy with just the Magnolia and Lio as my only yoyos. Top 2 colors for yoyos are black and pastel light pink. Every yoyo should have at least a black release, and hot pink should officially be banned as a yoyo color, it’s disgusting.
