No they don’t come into next round. Got a 12.32 avg in the second round (missed out on sub 12 because of a timer fail.) then 13.08 in the finals ( four timer fails wat). Also got a 11.29 single. I did bad in oh and 2x2. Sub 1:10 4x4 average.
What place did you get?
6th in semis, 7th in finals
I have cubed for at least 3 years less than anyone else in the top 6
Getting a stackmat now. 5 timer fails and three plus twos in three rounds is pretty awful.
why haven’t you had one. I have one in the mail and I have never gone to a comp. I am not able to go to Berkley winter- My skewb has not came yet so I won’t have enough time to practice. But I am going to a contest late in March!!! Is there a good way to practice?
Become used to inspection, turn slower and smoother than normal for your first solves. If your not shaking turn fast.
O also another highlight was a 7.77 tps 2x2 solve. Sune j perm because I don’t know sune clls. 3.6 was the time.
nice job, I guess, though it sounds like you weren’t too happy with the result.
21.92 oh
holy moly!!! I’m fairly happy with the one average. I don’t really care about all the mess ups. I had a great time.
Nice
Sune CLL’s are like the easiest lol
okay, good
Have you ever tried tracing to solve a cube blind? I’ve never tried it but I think I’ll try it today.
not for recognition
do a U’, here they are
left paired, right paired, both paired, forward slash, back slash, and x
I can recognize the rest from any angle easily
oh, i see.
Solving blind the tracing method is soooo aggravating. I’ve checked several pieces like 5 times and I’m still not 100% sure I have it right.
edit: I tried the solve and had two edges flipped. At least I know it’s not ridiculous to trace blind solve. I’ll bet you could do it.
16.03 ao5. ;D Could have had a sub 16 but I was shaking a little so the ll of the last solve was a second or so slower, but I’m happy. I had a 14.63 ao3
5.96
Also 8.34 tps solve today. Fullstep 7.43
62 moves. Of course predicting oll helps
that’s your record right? Is that your first sub-6?
Yep:)
I’ve had a sub 6 dnf but this my first!
congrats! How many years have you been cubing? Isn’t the sub-6 mark kind of an indication that you’ve jumped up a level?
I just did a cfop blind solve. It felt great even though the time was pretty lousy (36.32 not including memo).
