Could this be a cheap copy of the yyr bae? Or a different yoyo? Its the Sen by Ynotyoyo
it… looks like a different yoyo? can’t see how you could get those confused.
They obviously share some ideas in the profile shape, but so do many bimetals - they mostly have similar goals in mind. But the cup, rim fit, profile angles, profile cuts all have differences. Not to mention the wildly different hub.
This0 profil3 is pretty common we had this talk before here.
BAE is far from the only one, neither its the first by long i am sure. With hundreds of yoyos released a profile is no longer easy distinguishing factor but its good indication of the category it aims to fill usually.
If anything i think the yoyo you posted is pretty unique in some aspects.
Will say the empathy southside is the closest thing to the Bae compared to the ynot sen
Different yoyo
These are wildly different yo-yos lol
You must be really bad at those “spot the difference” picture games
I haven’t played the sen, but I would think the steel ring in the hub would make it play a little more floaty and possibly nimble than the bae, which plays very rim weighted and carries it’s momentum powerfully. You couldn’t be sure though without playing them both.
As for aesthetics as other people said, they are similar in profile, but curves are not just an aesthetic choice in yoyo design. Curves have more surface area than straight lines, and so you can fit more material in those curved areas, sometimes drastically affecting weight distribution.
Thanks you guys so much for the input <3
