Contrast and Contrast Brass PC by W1LD! - YoYo Used to win the 2025 US National YoYo Contest! - Connor Seals Signature!

Contrast_Feature
The Contrast is the signature model of U.S. National 1A Champion Connor Seals, designed to capture his fast, dynamic play style with a truly unique tri-material construction.

Connor set out to create a yo-yo that offered the width and stability of a 50mm design while maintaining the quick, maneuverable feel of a 47mm. Through a carefully balanced combination of materials, W1LD achieved exactly that. The stainless steel rims provide the powerful spin and stability needed for long, demanding combos, while the outer POM rings keep the rim weight in check for a lighter, more agile feel. The body is crafted from the high-strength of 7075 aluminum, bringing it all together in a design that feels both fast and controlled.

Connor describes the Contrast as “eager to please.” It reaches high speeds with little effort, moving with energy and precision while maintaining a soft, responsive feel in the hand. Its stability carries effortlessly through long combos, and when it returns, it hits with power you can feel.

The Contrast’s performance speaks for itself, having supported Connor on his path to a U.S. National Championship. Powerful, balanced, and full of personality, this yo-yo truly lives up to its name.

Introducing the Contrast Brass PC edition, pairing concentrated brass rim weight with a light PC body for a clear visual pop. It stays true to the original Contrast’s design, but the feel on string is distinctly different.

Both models feature a 7075 aluminum body, but the Brass PC version replaces the stainless steel and POM rims with a brass and polycarbonate combination. The lighter PC allows for more weight to be focused in the brass rims, giving this edition an extra 0.5g overall weight compared to the SS+POM model. The result is a yo-yo with greater stability, more powerful spin, and a slightly more grounded feel on the string.

It’s interesting they’re only offering PC with brass and POM with steel, limits the contrast between versions.

Perhaps they wanted to keep the ratios of the weight distribution in check. Is Delrin denser than polycarbonate? If so then I understand why they used PC for the brass version.

Regardless, they both look awesome! :fire:

Yeah, PC is slightly less dense.

I had the same thought. Love the og miracle as well. If anyone has played both I’d move to hear a comparison!

I own an og Miracle and tried out the Brass Contrast for a few min at worlds so here’s some high level, initial thoughts on the two:

I’d say the Miracle is a bit zippier and manoeuvrable. The Br Contrast has a heavier, slower feel and felt more powerful and a bit more stable. For me I wasn’t too keen on the Br Contrast as it was a bit sluggish for my tastes so would lean Miracle (aside from, y’know, it being YYF). Regular Contrast is amazing though and is one of my favourite throws and I much prefer to both.
