What was your first unresponsive yoyo that got you into loving the Unresponsive 1A yoyo play today?

Hi Connor!

  1. What’s the hardest part in making a routine?

  2. What was your first yoyo?

Should i shave my head?

What are your thoughts regarding string length?

Have you had the same string length ever since or do you adjust your string length from time to time given that tech tricks and even some meta tricks can be learned easier with a longer string?

Aside from the Contrast, what are some of your favorite daily carry throws?

How did your wife react when she first learned that you have a passion for yo-yos? Did her reaction change when she found out that your passion includes a collection of over 100 yo-yos?

I’ve noticed when you do horizontal that you wrap alot of excess string around your hand and was curious why you do that. Also how long have you been yoyoing for?

Connor, hello!

I have two questions to ask you.

  1. Are you, as a top player, fine with the current state of national and world contests not having significant cash prizes?
  2. Are you excited about Worlds 2027 in Nashville?

Thanks!

I know you’re a big takeshi fan and wondering what is your favorite takeshi routine? What does your contest prep like leading up to a contest?

Hey Connor,

First off: it was so nice seeing you perform at prague. Seeing the „spiders“ freestyle in person was amazing.

Now my questions:

How do you split your practise between 1a and 4a and how long did you prepare for US Nats and Worlds (per day/in total)?

1:What advice can you give me for my trickset?

2:Do you like the edit I made of you after nats?

how do you deal with nervousness on stage? i always get nervous when i join contest and fail miserably everytime

@connorsealsyoyo What are your tips for creating combos? We all have an “autopilot” combo that we do mindlessly when throwing, so what would you suggest as a way to create new combos, which then might be useful in a competitive routine down the road?

Lets say you get to pick cities in Europe, NA, and Asia for 3 WYYC years.
Ignoring logistics, which cities would you choose in each region?

Hi Connor! I wanted to know how you keep such sharp and intense movements without losing control of the way the yoyo bounces. It feels impossible to be consistent with something that feels so luck bases with how the yoyo jerks and snaps but a lot of your tricks have these motions and you are consistent, thanks!

Does left handed string make a difference?

How does yoyo help your mental strength?

Hi Conor, Kateřina Halíková lent me Contrast when I was at the German Nationals and I absolutely love it and I would definitely like to ask something

What inspired you to create it, what do you consider to be the biggest advantages of the materials and shapes used and if you plan on any further modifications in the future please? Thank you very much and good luck! :crossed_fingers:

What’s your fave w1ld yo-yo other than the contrast?

Do you incorporate other psychical activities into your yo-yo practice if so how?

Hi connor, first and for all, i was excited about your routine at Nats and its one of my favourite routines. One of which i show to others asking about 1a yoyoing. Coming to my questions:

1 | What kind of music genre do you like and do you stick to a certain genres for routines?

2 | What is an adivice you would give to your younger self? It doesnt need to be yoyo related advice, with time people get experience in a lot of things and learn from them. The question is more about a general experience you gained and cherish for yourself.

Thanks for reading this ^-^

Hi Connor! I had the pleasure of meeting you at Northeast Regionals this year. I asked for a selfie with you and asked about the finishing bind you did in your 1A final routine at Worlds 2024.

I actually have a non-yoyo question. I’m always super-curious what high-level players do for a living? Have you been able to make yoyo related activities your main thing or is it where you focus your energy when not at work? Thanks!
