Im thinking of spray painting a protostar black w/ spray paint and then doing red splash with model paint. Would this work? or am I an idiot?
That will work. The paint will chip if you ding it.
Spray paint is kind of sticky though. Donât you think? I donât think it will stay on unless you use a spray on dye, even thenâŚ
Spray paint will work just fine as long as you do a decent surface prep.
Itâs been done very well by a number of people, ibanezcollector for example.

Probobly cleaning it. I would still recomend going with dye though.
