How did you start getting into 3a?
Any beginner tips/tricks for learning 3a?
(I’ve tried learning 3a and it’s super hard )
I started 3A in 2012 after going to yo-yo club with Hank Freeman often. Hank was like THE best yo-yo player I grew up around for sure, so I wanted to try my shot with 3A too.
I think it’s super important to practice doing basics with your non dominant hand. If you get good at controlling tilt, landing onto mounts, and transitioning the yo-yo, you’ll be much better off with two yo-yos at the same time.
Hit me up on IG if you have any 3A questions! @colinbeckford
