The Cloudberry OS (Original Series) is a full remaster of the design that started it all for atmos projects. First introduced in 2020, the original Cloudberry marked atmos projects’ entry into yo-yo design and set the foundation for their approach to organic shapes and feel. Five years later, the Cloudberry OS returns as a refined expression of that original vision, rebuilt from the ground up with everything they have learned since.

This new iteration distills years of organic design exploration into a frame that is floatier, punchier, and more agile, while staying true to the spirit of the original. The signature schmoove-step has been removed, resulting in a cleaner, purer organic profile. Weight distribution has been reworked to achieve the same light power and stability without exaggerated features.
The Cloudberry OS features a slightly smaller diameter paired with increased width, creating a more compact yet fuller feel in the hand. This updated proportion improves comfort and stability, while subtle refinements to curvature and surface transitions give it a smooth, natural fit on the catch.

The cura is the second release in atmos projects’ Artist Edition series, created in collaboration with In Hyeok Choi. Inspired by old school yo-yo design and guided by In Hyeok’s philosophy of nostalgia, playfulness, and joy, the cura is a model built around feeling rather than competition.
The Artist Edition line focuses on co-creating designs with influential players whose ideas and values shape every detail. After the release of the noma in 2024, atmos projects turned to In Hyeok Choi, a player admired for his effortless style, artistic depth, and strong cultural influence within the community. Though not focused on contests, his play speaks through grace, control, and expression.

Design inspiration for the cura draws heavily from pottery and ceramic form study, with careful attention to curves, surfaces, and balance. Classic yo-yos such as the YoYoFactory 888, SPYY Addiction, Grind Machine 2, and Shinwoo Zen Rebuilt helped shape the direction. The result is a subtly curved, organic silhouette with high inner walls and an even, balanced weight distribution reminiscent of mid-2000s design.
