Hey guys, I’ve been using mineral oil to clean my yoyos. I came across a tutorial on how to clean a yoyo and it said you need mineral spirits. Is mineral oil the same as mineral spirits? Could it be that my dark magic is responsive after cleaning because i used mineral oil instead of mineral spirits? ??? ??? Please Help!
Mineral oil is not the same as Mineral spirits.

“mineral spirits” breaks up the lube in the bearing while “mineral oil” lubes it

Are the bearings broken if i soaked them in mineral oil?
No. You need to clean it with mineral spirits, then lightly thin lube it.
If you don’t have mineral spirits you can blow it out with compressed air and that might do the trick…
