I got these things in the mail, and they seem rater thick. I put a pair in my protostar, and they stick out just by a hair. I also put a pair in my SCLB, and it also sticks out a tad. Are these pads just built this way?
slim pads are for the protostar, not broad pads. i ordered some slim pads from yyn once and im pretty sure they sent me broads because they stuck out a little bit just like yours. deffinetly wasnt excited
No, he was talking about the Pro pads. Pro pads fit better in some yoyos than others I guess. It probably just doesn’t fit as well in Protostars.

I have yellow pro pads in pretty much all my YYF yoyos. They last longer than the white ones and give a slightly tighter bind. They do stick out a bit at first but they go flush within five minutes. Broad pads aren’t thicker, they’re Broader hence the name Broad pads. Those go in the PGM, Pre Production Genesis, 09 SEVERE, and the 09 DV888 and Hectic.

i have pro pads in all 3 of protostars and they fit perfectly
maybe you didn’t put them in correctly or got broad pads
