im planning on upgrading from my amazon camcorder to a canon rebel t6i
does anybody own this camera and is it worth the money

I have one, and it’s a solid choice for learning on. You can find some basic bundle kits for it to get you started.
I mostly use it for still shot stuff and get pretty alright stuff with it. I know quite a few people use it as their video camera for YouTube and Vlogs. I know there are a few others on here that are more into photography than I am. They might have better insight on what’s hot right now.

I’m a Nikon user BUT during photography class we used Canon T6i’s and I can say they are very good cameras. I got a lot of sports photography done on that camera. Fast auto focus. Crisp photo quality. Easy to use interface (after a learning period). It’s one of my favorite cameras I’ve used.
