Just so you guys know, I don’t believe that every yoyo trick can be performed horizontally. I was more interested in opening discussions about the physical limitations that would make specific tricks completely impossible, human skill taken out of the equation.
Rock the baby seems to be a popular discussion, since dizzy baby is definitely possible as we’ve seen. I think it can be done, but instead of keeping the cradle stationary and the yoyo in a pendulum swing, it would be possible to swing the triangle back and forth with your hands around the yoyo while it’s in horizontal play. I would consider that the same trick.
Maybe this thread is ridiculous and we should close it. I just know there’s some guys on this forum that are way smarter than I am, and I thought it would be interesting to hear some discussion about motion dynamics.
