Cake’s String Reviews

couldn’t tell you, college just started up again and if i got some in from a creator, i’d feel pressured to produce something ASAP rather than go through what i have, which would stress me out.
if you don’t care about something being posted 6-18 months from when you send it, go ahead! it will be added to the dragons horde

yea i get how the shapes factor in during play when there is one loop of string on the bearing. what I’m confused about is how you’re applying that to a bind where there is much more string present in the gap. I’ve just always heard response talked about in terms of response hardness, string thickness, and gap width. this is just the first I’ve seen anyone apply bearing shapes to bind theory.

@Georgekouts summed it up. The deeper the bearing, the more string is needed for the bind to take. This functions on the same principle that string loading does in the fact that deeper bearings can take more strings without rubbing against the response pad.

This is just my experience, but as they say, “Experience is the mother of illusion,” so take that what you will. I do like tinkering with it, tho
