I’m not a big fan of anything under 50, Rotix plays really good :ok_hand:

Yeah, a lot of these are not available or not in many colorways. My two cents is to check out the ZGRT Blackhole mini. I think all the colorways look super rad, even the ones with “spots” just look so cool. And it’s one of the more forgiving minis imo. Partly because it’s a tad larger, 49mm diameter. But it plays way better than a lot of minis.

Another suggestion is YYF Miracle mini. In terms of performance, it’s the closest to playing like a normal size throw despite being very small at 42mm diameter. It’s super rim weighted so you get really long spin times and good binds, even comparable to a good normal size bimetal, in a very compact package. I think it’s still available.

50mm seems to be my cutoff and I consider anything below that a mini. I can also very hardily recommend the Mini Star 2. To this day I regret selling mine.

Gotta add though… that Miro looks like it’s going to be insane.

I’ve been considering that $143 shipped. I’m not sure if I want to pay that.

If you can find one, I’d definitely recommend a Fallen Angel

Saw you were not looking to hunt the BST, and looking for a budget option commercially available

Atmos has some Bgrade/spoils yo-yos in the you’ll see their mini offering called

the Smol

they run 49usd

Smol is a really great mini! It performs well, and is fun and unique to throw. Highly recommend!

I have a couple different colors of the CLYW Ditch. Its more of a slimline but its a great size for keeping in your pocket and its very capable for its size. Only $40 on the CLYW site and you can use paypal pay-in-4. The Campfire is also a great choice, similarly sized but more of a butterfly/wing shape with a slightly wider catch zone for string tricks, theyre a little harder to find but there is 1 on ■■■■■■■ and 1 on yye right now

I love minis! Out of my current collection my recommendation is the Miracle Mini and the Masachibi. The miracle mini plays the best out of my entire collection. The Masachibi is the smallest you can get and still plays like a full size but your skills needs to be on point as it is not as forgiving as the miracle mini, if you throw well the Masachibi is just fine.

I practice on the miracle the most and switch to the Masachibi when I just want to throw a YoYo in my pocket with my jeans, since the gap width (4.5mm) is the same between both miracle and masa it’s not a big change. The miracle mini fits in a pocket just fine but is a bit larger and harder to throw in a jean pocket with your keys.

The mini miracle surpasses the Ministar 2 easily, only con with the miracle is the bearing it ships with (YYF center trac) is trash. I switched it out to a Dif-E-Yo Koncave and use a Zipline Executive class lite and it’s perfect 10/10 smooth.

Really cool throw that is hard to find. Reminds me a bit of the heist but bigger

Yeah the mini star 2 might as well be a full size in comparison.

Due to how well the miracle plays, I may just end up selling it as I hardly play it anymore.

That’s insane praise for the Miracle because the MS2 is a real player as is.

Love my mini tikoi, 66% 888 and Pyro are all great minis for me.
