A true passion project years in the making, the Blumi is Dominik of ILOVEYOYO (ILYY)’s personal love letter to the classic organic yo-yo shape. After dreaming for years of creating a yo-yo that captures that timeless, old school profile, Dominik finally decided to go for it on his own, and the result is something special. Crafted from premium 7075 aluminum, the Blumi combines all the beloved traits found in legendary classics like the FH and YWET with a modern 4.5mm gap and state of the art machining for a feel that is both nostalgic and refined.

The shape is old schoolish through and through, free of any modern cuts or aggressive curves. Well rounded edges keep the yo-yo comfortable in hand while the slim, defined rims give it a light and open look on the string. The cup design is unmistakably ILYY inspired with its signature rounded hub, but Dominik added his own personal touch with an understated daisy engraving right in the center, a subtle nod to the iconic Anti Yo heart. This run comes in a rougher blast reminiscent of the legendary CandyBlast finish by ILYY.

Spin is strong, the vibe is unmistakably old school, and the overall feel is nothing short of sublime. Whether you are a longtime fan of the organic shapes that built this hobby or a player looking to experience a piece of yo-yo history reimagined, the Blumi delivers.

A soft blast finish on these prototypes and masked guts round out the package for an incredibly smooth in hand feel.

Lots of hype for this throw, hope I can grab one! Never had the ability to grab the original ILYYs back in the day… but I am an adult with adult money now lol.

Most of us copped on the clock, all the activity made it freeze up there for the first 30 seconds while everyone was refreshing their browsers. Always love a good drop

Yeah I was having a problem after it got down to zero. The clock froze on my screen for like 30 seconds so I thought I was going to lose it because there was an issue with the timer not going away
