We’re a relatively new company compared to others that you might be more familiar with. While string making is not brand new to us, the idea of selling our product to throwers is. We would love to earn your business if you’re at all interested.
We are looking into that currently. Before offering international shipping, we want to make sure it makes sense for all. There’s a few things we are testing, and once we get that information we will be able to figure out what international shipping looks like.
We are most confident in our 100% nylon (labeled as just “nylon” on our website), with our favorite being Cloud 9 (there’s something about it’s pure, BRIGHT white that just feels so right). We really feel like our nylon might just be the softest string you put on a yo-yo.
There are a few things that cannot be made certain thicknesses, but that’s not the majority of them. The main reason for that is blend percentages and/or specific color combos/twists/braids.
I’ve tried quite a few strings from several different brands and have remained fairly loyal to my favorite. I like nylon and your colors are awesome, so I just ordered a few packs to test 'em out. The fact that I can get them in different thicknesses (and possibly custom colors?) could certainly be a game (or favorite brand) changer. Very excited to try these out
Ordered some! I love boutique string makers and I’m always enjoying how they switch up the meta on string formulas
Another maker on my list of why I don’t like bulk string and the many reasons of when you can get it. Get it homemade!
When you find that “Goldilocks” brand, it’s a thing of beauty. Here’s to hoping you enjoy our stuff! We’re always open to ideas/suggestions/customs - just drop us an email and we can figure out something that works for you.
This whole concept started out because we felt there was something missing, and initially did it just to fill that void for ourselves. As time went on, and friends asked for more “extras” we had lying around, we had a feeling there were others that may want in on these too.
If I was forced to choose between those, I would probably choose the latter.
To be honest, this whole company started with the Cloud 9 THICK - some friends joked that it should be called “moto moto” (if you get the reference). I tend to gravitate towards thicker string in general based on my style of play. I have been told many times that the Cloud 9 in medium is the”Goldilocks” for most. With that said, I’m open to putting together a "thickness sampler pack” of our Cloud 9 if that would help you. Let me know if you’re interested and I can set something up for you.
