Best ways to remember your trick library?

Hi,

I’ve been throwing for about a year now and I’m struggling to keep track of every trick I learn. For example: I’ll find a random rail combo online, practice it for a while and get good at it, and then completely forget about it weeks later. I don’t mean I forget how to do it, but I forget that it exists and is something I am capable of. At the moment all I have to organise my knowledge is just a few videos of myself and some bookmarked tutorials.

I thought about making a massive list of everything I can do, but I feel like that would end up being incredibly patchy and cluttered.

Does anyone have any advice for keeping track of your tricks? Thank you!

I have the same problem lol. I try to learn new things every week so I started posted videos to Instagram. It doubles as a kind of video library of tricks I’ve done that I can reference if I can’t remember how I did something

That’s a good idea

Finish each session with the a combo that get longer and longer the more tricks you learn as you add them in

I have a private YouTube playlist with all the tutorials I’ve used and new stuff I want to learn. Helpful both for remembering the tricks themselves and also how other people do them, cause through practice I often subconsciously change little details and don’t realize it until I go back and rewatch the original tutorial. I also try to film everything I learn and put it in an album on my phone, even if it’s still messy, just so I can have a catalogue of sorts.
