Best way to pack yoyos without a dedicated case?

So I’m traveling tomorrow, I need to pack a few yoyos in my backpack, but I don’t have a dedicated yoyo case to bring with me. Any recommendations on how to safely pack yoyos to prevent any damage?

I have a case so I have not done this, but for things I don’t want damaged I put in a sock. I imagine that would be a quick and safe way to travel with them.

I also use a sock. I usually put one in the bottom, twist the sock a little to close it off, then pull the excess over the yoyo, add another yoyo, repeat. I can usually add about three yoyos in a regular (tube) sock

I hope so but you never know, smileypants could be trying to conserve water and just rotating the musty things. :flushed:
