Bearing removal tool, $1, DIY!

I found an “xacto” type knife at the dollar store and used a dremel to make it fit snug inside the bearing. It seems to work good. Being aluminum I assume it will wear and not be as effective but I can cut the tip off and in ten minutes have a new one!

Oh and P.S. I REFUSE to use a pair of pliers on a $30 bearing! PERIOD!

Then don’t buy $30 bearings.

Anyway nice tool. I like the creativity.

Only if you trash your Yo’s and buy an old school wooden, fixed axle Butterfly.

Ya’ I am not sure how long an aluminum one will last. Mine is steel and I have had it for 5 maybe 6 years, and it still looks new.
I would like to see something like this just come in the retail package of yoyo’s with these kinda’ bearing seats.
