I had an issue with him on Facebook and I made a post about it asking if anyone had similar issues and he messaged me and flamed the hell out of me and started threatening me. After that I knew I made the right choice in not dealing with him

I saw this profile a little while ago and immediately thought of “Dr.filthy” who got me last year, for the same amount, an avoided them.
Just an update:
Somebody created a new account here on september 28 with the username Amcarthy listing some throws for sale. I inquired about a g2 banshee, and before getting a response, @jhb8426 closed the thread due to the ip address matching kilyoslf(chris brown). Im impressed with the quickness and alertness of jhb and anyone involved in flagging this new user! Two days ago this same user messaged me saying “My paypal is @chrisbrown####” 
! Incredible! I replied “but i never got the council and mongoose”, to which i received no reply…

Can you imagine the community response if “Chris Brown” had the audacity to come on here complaining about being scammed???
I understand keeping your integrity and guarding your good reputation, but a lot of us would LOVE to see him get a dose of his own medicine.

Yeah honestly persons better than me as I would have possibly opened box and maybe sent a letter back with direct contact info asking how the person wants to resolve stuff. You know go snail mail approach. Feels like a balanced bit of petty
Update on my situation… Chris browns girl posted stuff on he under the name @amcarthy, and i had asked about a banshee. Before getting a response, she was banned because her ip matched chris’s… Some time later she messaged her paypal, which matched chris browns, so i said, “but i never received the mongoose or council…”. She didnt know anything about it, but she found the throws i had purchased and said she would send them. Using G&S i purchased the banshee as well. She said she would ship them, and today i received this:
The OC on the bottom was a freebie she sent…
I fully believe that chris’s disappearance was not intentional on his part. I dont know how long he will be unavailable, but im willing to bet that when he is able to, he will attempt to fulfill any prior obligation with anybody who got left hanging by this situation. I felt obligated to share how things happened. I figured something had to be up, because I’ve had a couple transactions with him before and was always more than satisfied. I’ve had him give me rare G2 throws as a freebie with a purchase that wasn’t even that much money. When I told him how rare it was and offered it back to him he told me to keep it. I also spoke with him quite a bit about more than just yo-yos. It’s not my place to speculate about or to post what his situation is or may be, but I do feel that at this point it is out of his control. hopefully soon he can get things straightened out and take care of things!

Maybe. If everybody is convinced it was an unintentional consequence of unrelated issues. That is up to the admins, but i just wanted to put the whole story out there on my end… I really do like the guy. The first package i received from him was my favorite ever unboxing! He gave me a g2 brass ring arbiter for free and a bunch of other stuff. That arbiter was only made in one colorway and there were only 15 total A grades made. I offered it back foguring he didnt realize what he was giving me, and he said it deserved to be at my collection. That’s one of the reasons why I feel like he wasn’t a greedy type of person most likely did not intentionally take anybody’s money without fulfilling his end of the bargain.
For Sure! And if there’s any credence to the story given in their one post, I think it’s not a bad thing to test out.
the problem with chris is not that he cant deliver, but when he is dealing with something or cant fulfill he just ghosts you. in previous situation friends reached out to him and he just told them to tell us to escalate with paypal. didnt seem to care about refunding or explaining why he took the money and gone.
and he uses the girl paypal so she gets the heat from paypal. that and some of his yoyos smell so bad they keep extra terrestrials away.

I havent heard about instances where he specifically told people to file a claim on paypal. Im sad to hear that. In my case my understanding is that he is in a situation where he cant contact people to let them know the situation. If he did take money and was able to make contact, but didnt, that is very different… That is why i said IF everyone is satisfied that he didnt willingly renege on his agreements, maybe things can be looked upon differently. If other people have reason to feel that he has in fact intentionally misled/deceived people, then it is their right to say so. I am no moderator, nor do i envy their responsibilities much of the time… I do, however, have great respect for them and their willingness to deal with situations that i myself would rather take no part in, and to attempt to do such in a fair and unbiased manner. This can not be easy, and can often bring unwarranted judgement onto them… They are often put into lose-lose situations in which they can only attempt to pass as fair a judgement as possible while, in the process, pissing off some of the involved parties… Not fun, but someone has to do it. I give no opinion as to what the admins should, or shouldnt, do. I will support whatever decision they make, trusting that they looked at all available evidence and made the most impartial and sensible decision possible at that time. I trust our mods, and thank them for their hard work.
