Join the CLYW discord if you haven’t, if you were in there you had minutes to buy early.
This gonna be a limited run?
Atdesign will sell a second run from their store.
Damn I’m on the discord and didn’t even think to check if they gave early access. Ash Berry deleted out of my cart in the middle of the final Apple Pay double click
. Snagged Tiffany mint, surprised that one was available longer than Clareview. I got this because I was absolutely thrilled by the Kai, so I was hyped to see another undersize/smaller throw. I can’t stop playing with the Kai. Tiffany mint will look great beside the gold too.
Just IMO, but I don’t think there is a conflict because strictly enforcing equal-access isn’t an overarching priority at all.
Bypassing the countdown is a bug. It is unintended and obviously counter to what the company wants to happen.
Discord early access is a thank you to people contributing to a primary meeting spot for CLYW supporters. It’s also an enticement to join and participate, which is freely available and advertised on the store.
A zillion people showing up just for discounts is a potential problem, but maybe just in some future where a lot of other goals have been met on the way(?)
Edit to add: I’m not a huge fan of Discord I general, so I can sympathize with not wanting to keep track of it. I’m just making a case based on its role.
AFAIK, passwords were introduced for the 2nd CLYW Summit 2 drop (Pale Blue & Spanish Moss). It seems like the impetus was the unexpected reaction to the first drop and a lot of long time CLYW supporters getting shut out and voicing their disappointment/frustration on Discord.
The Discord password for the 2nd Summit 2 drop was announced on the CLYW Instagram account.
I believe that the password is also a workaround for the problems with the countdown at rollover time (which is mostly a problem around highly competitive drops).
OTOH, there was no password for the 1st or 2nd run Legacy Peak drops. The 2nd run happened after the early access 2nd Summit 2 drop. IOW, it was known that competition would be fierce, but no preference was available (at least for store purchases).
There was a relatively large number of p3aks, a unique item with limited precedence for CLYW. I think the feeling was that there were enough to go around, and IMO there actually were. Unless it was Ashberry or nothing, anyone showing up at drop time had plenty of time to buy. (And someone with preference that strong is probably going to be on top of the password situation.)
I’m not sure that it is a policy or even an expectation that early access will be available for CLYW going forward. It’s happened twice, and arguably already proven to be unnecessary except in the one case where it was publicly announced.
I think we can see where this dynamic could go, but I think you’d be hard pressed to convince the people running these brands that they can count on any of these yo-yos selling out so fast (and some yo-yos dropped in the same time frame have not).
In Italy, while all this was happening, it was three in the morning… and I was sleeping wonderfully… ![]()
At Design Lab posted Hulk Smash and 28 Stories Decos on Instagram. These are color tests ahead of their p3ak run.
Edit: There are more views on their site.
OK, I am no longer upset about missing the initial drop. I’d much prefer a p3ak in 28 stories.
I know, I’m gonna need some serious luck on that drop day ![]()
That particular Hulk Smash may dilute the competition for 28 Stories.
The Hulk Smash was green… what color is that??? Did Hulk go on the Mediterranean diet and overdo it with the olive oil (a few years old)???

wish these things weren’t also unobtanium. too much not enough these days.
Got my p3ak today. Super happy with it and glad I picked Tiffany blue.
For reference, here’s a photo of the p3ak with the two other throws I have out at the moment: a Sudo and E1NS.
Any shade you like, except for that sort of indefinable color they ended up with!

Do you ever have anything positive to say? Good grief.
Everything I don’t mention is positive.
If a color is objectively awful—so bad it can’t even be defined by a precise shade—what am I supposed to say? That it’s wonderful?!?!
Only a colorblind person would claim that that color is green… and I wouldn’t even bet on that.
He doesn’t ![]()
idk some of his takes are justified, i’m sure some people would say it or otherwise agree with him.
