Anyone else having issues with USPS coming through North Carolina

So I’m having an issue I sent my Sprout to a user here and it’s been stuck in North Carolina since the 20th. And he also has a package other then mine stuck in North Carolina.

I looked today at a package in supposed to be getting from a user for a bearing and it seems it has not left north Carolina since the 22nd. I called and filed for the yoyo I sent a user and they are investigating and he opened one up for his other yoyo he ordered.

Is anyone else having an issue?

I’ve had several packages lately (the past couple weeks) that usually go through Charlotte/Greensboro/Gastonia that have all skipped NC altogether and are going through Atlanta.

Welp… you already listed my issue. Only… there’s a surprise in that package too

The one package I sent another user has finally moved but it took almost 6 days. From what I’ve read is there have been fires in the area and power outages not sure what areas have been effected.

Thanks for the bearing and surprise

Shipping is getting really weird for my package I sent to someone here on the forums. Package left Fayetteville nc, went to Charlotte nc, Gastonia and is now back on Fayetteville nc where it was already for the past 5 days. This is getting absurd. Package was supposed to be delivered on Tuesday here is is sunday

This happened to me, however, I already knew the issue. It could’ve been whoever shipped it to you wrote down the wrong address or miss printed/typed a number. Eventually it gets returned to sender. You can try putting in a request with USPS via claims.

Yup. It’s frustrating as can be.

When this kind of crap happens there should be some sort of way you can have it held somewhere that you can go pick it up from. It’s maddening

I’m like… my package is going to New York… I’m in Virginia… why is the thing even in Raleigh NC???

Yeah the package you sent me went from VA to North Carolina which is 3 hours the wrong direction. Really makes no sense honestly why it didn’t go from VA to Auburn so now instead of being 8 hours it has to travel 11 hours because it went 3 hours in the opposite direction

But good news your package hit my town today. Was never scanned from North Carolina to auburn

I might start avoiding USPS to be honest with you. Especially after the yo-yo debacle. I just had that package that I sent out. Supposed to be delivered on Tuesday and now it does have an updated delivery for Monday so we’re talking 7-Day delay so I think if I ship anything out from now on if I do sell something, I’m choosing somebody else

Yep - Had a package sent to a teammember get stuck in Memphis for several weeks. Had another that was routed through Raleigh get stuck there for two weeks. Seems like there are some logistics issues with USPS in general right now, however some of the locations in the South East seem to have those issues compounded from our (limited) experience.

My package came was about 4 days late and the other guy got my package but was around 7 days late.

USPS called me and told me they are seeing multiple issues with packages in the north Carolina area. I’m just glad the guy I sent my sprout too got it finally.

That’s a decent solution - our team member still has yet to receive it. We sent him a package on July 9th, it reached TN on the 12th, and has not updated since then. Started an inquiry/search to find it, but have not heard yet. I totally understand that problems arise, but communication is key when it does. Fingers crossed it is an outlier.

Packages can get misrouted or even mis scanned all over the country. It happens all the time. They can even wind up underneath a conveyer belt and not be seen for days. Even by UPS and others. I was at the local UPS hub a few years back because my package scanned there but never made it out for delivery. While I was walking back to my truck after not finding my box , I happened to look back inside the warehouse and noticed a package underneath the loading dock. I flagged an employee down and he crawled under there about 15 feet and brought it out. It was my package. It could have been there forever. I just happened to look at the exact angle to have seen it. The best thing to do when a package hasn’t scanned by the third day is file a missing package service request. They will locate it and move it along on its way. I’ve had to do it quite a few times, including Texas and California

I had a priority package take exactly one month to go from Boston to New York. I could have driven it in 3 hours lol. Waste of $17
