Any reason to doubt authenticity of this grail? It appears legit to me

Ive gone through what info i can find distinguishing between real/fake one. Mine has the softer edges, loose post, shallow/soft undercut, etc. i just would like verification from someone with more experience with grails…i appreciate any help

seems like a legit raw grail to me, not sure if it was polished or it came like this though

Yeah the only thing giving me pause is the lack of pyramatte finish appearance in just the cup… looks like a regular polished throw there. Everything else looks good though besides that, but that specifically is unusual

I said the same thing. The cup lookspolished, but catch looks pyramatte. Thats why i wanted to check. Someone wants to buy it, and i have no experience. I dont wanna sell something as legit if it isnt. I also dont know what to price it at.

Looks like someone started a polish job but then either gave up or wanted it shiny in the cup. It would be difficult to mimic pyramatte finish in the catch zone, my vote is it’s legit

Here is my clear grail 1st run for reference. Bought it direct from A-rt back when first released.

Catch zone looks really grainy. Did someone use sandpaper on it or something?

No. Pyramatte finish looks like that in photos, but is perfectly smooth when felt

All grails have pyramatte finish, even colored ano

I’ve never seen it look like that in any photo before.

seems legit, someone definitely polished the cup tho.

Actually came across a post from 2017 selling a raw grail on which the cups had been polished, but the catch zone hadnt. If im correct, the first i saw about counterfeits was 2020. Seems like a good chance this is that same one from 2017. If not, its quite a councidence
