I recently imagined that I had a dream in which I met an old hippy who told me he heard a story from another old hippy that back in the 60s there was a rare speckled plastic yoyo that that contained a certain chemical that’s activated by warm moisture, and it would cause anyone who played with the yoyo long enough to break a sweat to hallucinate. I think I took him at his word, but I really can’t remember anymore.

That sounds a little too vivid to me… I’m guessing you really experienced this and don’t remember. You’d better be careful if that yo-yo is still floating around your collection!
