Am I the only one whose threads bump every time they edit?

How do i fix this I’m losing my mind

Place a reply to your post and edits will no longer bump. If there are no reply’s to your original post then edits will bump.

Mine is doing that with a reply. Interesting.

Free bumps I guess.

If you edit the last post in the topic, it’s an automatic bump.

If there is only one post in a topic, that is by definition the first and last post, isn’t it?

This no what happen tho. I have 9 replies on my bst. Editing the last reply does nothing. It bumps when I edit the original post.

Ah, sorry, I thought that’s what you meant. Is your post a wiki post? I know they’re changing a bit to only bump on last post edits that are MAJOR edits, not “I changed this single letter”, which I do agree with.

Not sure; unless your first post is a wiki post. They’ve changed the behavior a tiny bit. I’m not part of day to day there, so you’ll need to ask support or look on meta.discourse.org

I am having the same user experience, editing original post caused the bump.

I don’t THINK I would’ve done a wiki post but I am a fool so who knows. I did try a more major edit on the latest post and it didn’t bump but a character in the OP did the trick.

It’s a slight inconvenience that I don’t care to go to a whole diff site for so I’ll leave that to someone who. Cares more, lol.

That’s the new behavior they explained to me.

Old behavior: ANY edit on last post causes bump.
New behavior: only SIGNIFICANT (larger) edits on last post cause bump.
