All the 888s

I agree the titanium 888 is top shelf, but the small bearing shadow 07 is my favorite

Here’s my 888.
From around 2009 or so?

Still plays like it did when I bought it.

Also…

Mine has a silicone response. Is this standard?
I don’t remember flowing silicone on this particular throw, but it’s possible. I was doing the flowable silicone on several throws back then.

Thanks

I agree 100%. The best 888 that’s been made, to me at least.

Thank you.

I knew it was around the 09 time frame.

08 it is then.

I have had two that stood out to me.

A 2007 b grade 888 in blue. It had a touch of vibe but it played so good that I did not care at all. The feel in hand was just unreal.

It lead me to pick out the one that looked the best to me, which was a 2008 Celtic 888. Eventually traded both, but that Celtic sure was a looker.

If I ever take a stab at them again, I’ll be trying to grabe another b grade 07 and possibly a hate hate hate.

With the crazy popularity, dozens upon dozens of models, and overall mass production, I wonder when and why YYF stopped producing the 888.

Wow. That was nostalgic. I used to look at that page every day after high school
