Indeed! I was waiting for someone to chime in on Ross, that is exactly where I buy from. All gear. Nothing but Quality and No price gouging from Modern. Thanks to the one fella I’m going to buy a couple yyr DS bearings and a couple W1ld ones too.
He was also kind enough to talk to Frank and get the license and ok to use the Difeyo name on the concave ones.
But I do want to try to NSK and W1ld mentioned above by Newtypeyoyodesign and SR1 also. Just need to find them in stock at the same time as whatever else I’m getting.
The NSK on first throw is amazing, I like crucial bearings also. I have a Wild-ness however it’s spelled and that bearing on throw, I don’t hear a lot and it’s smooth!
Apparently NSK is more known for larger bearings and Minibea is the premier industrial bearing maker for yoyo sized bearings. Probably makes zero difference in practice.
Atmos bearings are also really nice, and Atmos has really good shipping rates. Similar quality to the W1ld ones (possible they are the same thing tbh) - they’re very very quiet when dry and they fit just slightly looser than average which is nice for maintenance (mostly compared to the stock CTs that many yoyos come with).
