Last minute, barely getting the trick right, video.
Get my submissions in.
Combined the Trick ladder and Trick of the week in one video.
And for the freeform I’m combining 2 Shigehiro Yamada tricks in to one combo.
Thanks for running this show guys. I’m having a blast.
I’m not the bean counter, but I’d vote yes.
That is an epic board game collection!
Don’t feel bad Steve! I like to think I’m pretty good at 1a and 0a but 5a is eluding me. I can do SOME cool stuff but the trick ladder stuff is hard. There’s been at least one trick every week that I can’t get down.
I think next week I’m just going to shoot for a free form and call it good. I’ve missed this week and last trying to grind out the trick ladders and failing
That’s MOST of it. There’s some in the basement. That’s also after getting rid of 200+ games. For around 15 years I wrote reviews and news in the tabletop industry.
I’m the only one in my house that really enjoys board games so my collection is not very large. The last few I acquired have sat on the shelf because I can’t convince the household to play
Anyone have any tips for Spirals. I’m super inconsistent at it and all of my problems are moving the weight. When do you drop it and how do you get it onto the wrist instead of colliding with the throw?
Is like throwing a trapeze but try to aim more to your pinky finger front. Then you should be setup and your string is not in a straight line like in a normal trapeze.
Have you seen the 5a essentials tutorial on it? I found the steps Josh talks about very helpful like just focus on the cw wrap for a bit and you’ll get the feel then add the Yoyo wrap.
What also helps is slightly push your hand away from your body away, insides of the hands facing outward. This gives the complete spin formation more spin.
I did not see the is one. I used @ENGLISH_TEA’s and Miguel Correa’s. I’ll watch this one. Thanks!
Yah whenever tricks are giving me trouble I try to watch as many tuts as possible bc they all have different ideas and tips and stuff. Good luck!
Hi all!
Here is my entry for Week 2:
The Beginner Trick Ladder and Trick-a-Week
(I hope that’s right😁)
Forget thé stall that Josh yee shows. It is kinda tricky. Let thé cw wrap once round your hand. Turn tour palm slowly but steady. (Top of your hand facing your throw hand side. When the cw wraps itself 3 times let it stall hanging from your hand. You might wanna lower your hand (and knees) when this happens. Check my video if you like since it fits my description. ( Nothing fancy but I do what I preach.
Hope this helps.
Here’s my late entry to the party for this week. I only.managed to land 2 out of 3 from the trick ladder. I couldn’t quite land that spiral trick. I will eventually. I hope this video is good enough…
FEAR MY ONE ENTRY! (this is a sentence)
Well done!
