It’s practice. You can try to slow down your DM before you bind so your yoyo won’t come up tp your hand aggressively. Don’t be afraid to scratch, ding, or even break it. After a while you get used to the momentum and holding the CW and the DM. I would recommend practicing over c arpet or grass or any other soft material lke blankets if you have a hardwood floor.
