5a butterfly

Working on it. I saw Kowalski say in a tutorial that you could make a sort of trainer putting your weights on opposite ends of an old string. I did this and kinda got it enough to try it with the yoyo. So now my yoyo pulls harder cuz its heavier. Do i need to pinch the string or something to stop the imbalance?

You didn’t really ask for trick advice but I learned this one last month and what got it to click for me was really trying to match the speed of the cw and the Yoyo so like I would aim to start moving the cw from like 3oclock to 1 o’clock at the same time the Yoyo goes from like 9 o’clock to 11 o’clock. Idk why but thinking about it like that really helped me and then nth just goes up and down.
