Dude when I felt your pain when you dropped the whole thing and the you kept spinning like a top lol, I’ve had that same thing happen and my gf was staring daggers as I fumbled it twice lol.

Going a little wider today…

Legendary Terrarian feels like it was made for 5A. Makes sense considering the in-game version absolutely rips with CW’s equipped.

You’d think I would turn that light off or move somewhere else …

Chris Godoy on Instagram: "I forgot to get weird on Wednesday, so here's a @c3yoyodesign #MegaCrash with a @throwfallen44 custom purpleheart counterweight making a ton of noise and being hella slow."

If they shenan once, best believe they’re gonna shenanigan.

Hybrid Freehand. That’s my guess.

I’ve played enough 5A that I’ve finally got a 5A blister setting in oh no

Unrelated to the blister, how do you like the soft cube? I’m thinking of picking up some counterweights from FCL.

I love soft cubes, Fairy Crystal Lab weights are basically all I play with.

Soft cubes are my go-to for practicing, but sometimes I prefer using a neo cube. The soft resin will pretty much entirely kill the spin of your yoyo on contact, but collisions are dead silent, so it’s a trade off. Being able to 5A without bothering anybody around me just lets me get way more practice time in.

If I lived alone and didn’t have to worry about noise, I’d only play neo cubes. Neo cubes feel like a super smooth og candy dice. If you like the og candy dice you’ll really like neo cubes. They play a bit lighter and faster than soft cubes.

Soft jewels play almost identically to soft cubes, it’s just a different hand feel. I prefer soft cubes though because I like the smoother surface with fewer ridges, if you like extra texture you might prefer the soft jewel.

Soft crystals are very big and very heavy for my taste. Soft crystal is probably the last thing in their lineup I’d recommend. This one is very much going to be personal preference if you love it or hate it. These take a lot more effort to move around and carry a ton of momentum.

Spirit gem is my favorite bead design, it’s a little bit smaller and removes the bearing. If you prefer bead cws spirit gem is the one to get.

I don’t know any good tricks for modern responsive 5a, but I’ll be damned if I tie a string to my finger this month.

I suck at 5a but I figured I’d give it another shot except Im a responsive fanboy so putting my spin on it lol. I really am enjoying The Thing from DocPops x Toybania

Was messing around with releasing the cw at various points in superflow and had a lot of interesting failures! Will keep working on this in the background of learning other 5A stuff.
