3A Help

I was thinking of practicing 3A yoyoing and I want to know if there are any sites that teach 3A yoyoing like this site from beginer to master. Also any tips on how to begin would be of great help.
Thanks ;D ;D

I don’t know a site to begin, but a tip is that to be good at 3A you have to be able to do tricks like split the atom, trapeze, drop in the bucket, etc with your non throw hand. You also, very important, have to be able to throw strong sleepers with both hands. Learning 3A can be frustrating because your string gets tangled a lot when you first start, but don’t get frustrated, take notes on why your getting the string tangled up. Also, last tip, it’s really really really important to know how to bind with both hands because when you get into the harder tricks, your going to want an unresponsive yoyo, do you will need to be able to bind. I know this topic is old, and you MIT have found someone else to help you, but if you haven’t, I hope this helped!

begin2spin has a couple tutorials. i will also be posting a few in the next 2 weeks or so

Low walls. High rimweight. Konkave bearings. Short strings. As short as you can get them and still throw and bind comfortably.

None of those things are technically required, but I strongly recommend all of them. Unless you enjoy being frustrated about things you don’t need to be frustrated about.

I’ve stashed away a repository of old 3A tutorials by Drew Tetz in this directory. Start with bluelines, velvets, and/or kink fu.

good luck ! unfortunately there are only that many tutorials for 1A, any other style, you’ll find some tutorials but not as many “professional” ones.

I just posted a few 3a tutorials. They aren’t that great but I will be posting more soon. http://www.youtube.com/user/teamexyo

This is a good website I’ve found.

They’re called 3aTetztutz. Awesome.
