The raider has a ball bearing in it, not a transaxle. I believe the loop 360 is the only YYF looper that doesn’t use a starburst response, so starburst seems to be ok. Truth be known, when you could still get them I used one duncan friction sticker in my raiders to make them better (for me).

Back in the late 90’s I was pretty fascinated by the idea of 2a, but could never get my left hand going. I have been thinking of getting into it now that I understand, as an adult, the value of practice. I had been eyeing the YYF 720 myself, but YYE has a great deal here for two Raiders and some spare string.
